Hi there. the email that is sent after a form is completed is missing info from 1 of the field. See below


Modules being submitted |4. Which Module are you submitting? |

I cant work this out, can someone help me please.

Hi, Ben!

I think it is due to the spaces at the end of the field name.
Please, delete spaces from both field name and in the template.

Hi . I tried this and it didnt work. Attached is a screen shot of the email table in the back end and the email I have received after the form is submitted.

I removed all the spaces before I sent my previous email as per that screen shot I sent you.
Here it is in bigger format.
are you seeing something im not?

I sent you the screenshot from another form.
In your second form there is another problem – spaces at the end of the field name.
Please, see screenshot.

I have deleted the second form as that was just a test one to see if I could resolve the issue.

I have looked at the data in the form page and there are no spaces in the drop down list?

Not in the dropdown list but in filed’s name as showed on the screenshot at the end of the field name.

Hi Igor

OK I’ve cloned another field with a set up that works in the email. The only change is i’ve change 3 to a 4. I cant see any gaps after the question mark in the field name and no gaps in the drop down.
In the email template the field is exactly the same as the one above with just the number changed.

hi Igor

I had a bit more of a fiddle withj it and got it working.

my next question is: I have tried the form with some big uploads. It arrived in the database but didn’t send the Email notification through as the test files were too big. Is there a way of the system sending a notification email regardless of attachments. What i mean is that it tells us a form has been completed but the files were too large. This would at least notify us that we need to login and download them.
I hope that makes some sense.
