Extracting, filtering and removing records using the REST API

Publication date: April 30, 2019

Hello – I would like to an SSIS C# script component to extract form data, on a daily basis using the JSON REST API. How would you suggest retrieving only the new new records added since the previous extract? Is there a way to filter the records? How can I remove the records retrieved in bulk? Do you have any code examples?

Thank you!

Received 401 Unauthorized response with REST request

Publication date: April 17, 2019

I am trying to fetch all form records using the documented pattern ‘/apps/APP_ID/dtypes/entity/ENTITY_ID.json’ in Java 8, with Retrofit2, and Gson to handle JSON stuff, but I received 401 response no matter how I try.
The complete URL can produce valid response in Chrome browser, but receives only brackets([]) in Safari.
I tried to set an API key in the body, but the Retrofit framework complained that body is not acceptable in a GET method. That seems to violate the specifications of HTTP 1.1.
Then I tried to use POST method instead, got the same 401 response.
I have no idea. Is there any operational sample written in Java?

Where is the "REST API" page?

Publication date: April 17, 2019

I need to get the API key for a particular project, but browsing the full list of pages of any of my projects and documentation yield nothing but the advice to seek out the “REST API page” to get the key. Where is that? Where is the link to it?

MTH looks interesting - how do I process the data in tables?

Publication date: August 9, 2018

As a first app I’d like to supply a simple form to customers where they can enter a bit of information and also upload a spreadsheet for processing.

I would like to process that spreadsheet in a backend program and return any errors/results back to the user. Ideally this would be done in real-time while they are still on the MTH site.

Do you have any REST APIs to read the database table contents and to return results to MTH?

I think your site is very good but could use just a little translation by a native English (American) speaker. Let me know if you would want me to send you some language change snippets.

Front end integration

Please, explore Widgets section in order to integrate form, table, login or google map widgets.
You’ll find the codes to share your forms via direct link, iframe, JavaScript or API.

Fetch report records REST API

Publication date: August 14, 2018

I tried to fetch the report records using the documented API URL and query parameters, but the MTH server seems to reply the whole table every time, instead of the report which filters out some of the records.
I’ve checked the log of my program and the formulated HTTP GET request is:
Some of the parameter values have been replaced with bracketed holders in order to protect sensitive information.

MAP - Missing Points + Incorrect Markers

Publication date: August 16, 2018

I tried the “Map” API to Google Maps, but, there are 2 problems:

(1) I entered a test subset of 8 coordinates but only 5 show on the resulting Map

(2) The “Markers” (I used “Last Name”) for the points on the resulting Map are not the correct ones (a different “Last Name” appears than the one associated with the points)

This would be a very appreciated feature, if it worked right!

Custom URL for form

Publication date: August 20, 2018

Is it possible, if I create a subdomain, to use my url for the forms, but actually access MTH forms — for example — eforms.russellleeconsulting.com/form98877473737 I am never going to know enough to us API — but I would like to have forms that use my subdomain for their url.

Map API per Address

Publication date: August 20, 2018

Like the feature in DBStract.com (which I had previously shown to my Users, and, they loved it), I’d appreciate the ability to have a seperate Map API with Google Maps, such that just one Street Address and a “City, State” concatenation (via a standard, hidden field) would be sent to Google Maps, and, the result is a popup map for this particular address!

This would be greatly appreciated by each of the Drivers, who transport multiple of these New American students to either church, or, an after-school tutoring class, or, a Fellowship session (social gathering).

Concatenate Values of 2 Fields

Publication date: August 20, 2018

To facilitate the use of the “MAPAPI, I’d like to be able to concatenate the values of 2 fields (Street No., and, Street Name) into 1 hidden field (Street Address), then, use this result field as the “Marker” for the Map.
