Email Default Value vs Auto-Complete

Hope this finds you well. i apologise for not paying in time. However, i was trying to develop an online database for my company so that they can buy the idea. Its so unfortunate that my account was closed in the due process.
In this regards i was requested by my boss to inquire from you on the following issues:
1. How safe is the data on the Application i develop, in other words they need to know about the security of the data i will be posting on my application?,
2. can i send an sms reminder with a customised message to someone’s phone?
3. can this application be hosted on mobile phone to use it so. In other words to make it user friendly?
4. who to pay, when and how.
5.Can i get a hundeler/ helper/ support person whom i can contact directly incase of anything like seeking for assistance and guidance.

e-mail notification problem 2

Hi Igor,

I am using some reports, I allow data to be changed with a table widget.
the table widget redirects to form widget.
in the form widget I have e-mail field.

I would like the person changing the data, and leaving his e-mail address, to receive a notification of his changes.

I can’t find how.

only the normal notification is working. see attachment.

I have a problem with e-mail notifications, based on e-mail field.
when the system sends mails to the general people to be informed about data entry, the content of the e-mail notification is showing the content which I expect.
When the system sends mails to the e-mail address in het e-mail field, the content is gone.

When setting up email reminders, do you have to click “Run Now” in order for the reminder to work? Do you have to click that button daily if you want it to continuously work? For example, I have a Task form that I will use to store items due and I am setting up an email reminder rule to send me an email every time a new task is scheduled to be due. I am hoping I can just set up one email reminder rule. Please confirm.

Haven't received a confirmation email

Hi MTH,

I signed up for a trial account yesterday but haven’t received a confirmation email yet. I have attempted to resend it multiple times, checked my SPAM folder, checked my server directly, and don’t see it anywhere. Oddly, I did receive an MTH email a moment ago when I cloned a project so I know I entered my correct email address when I signed up and that your emails can get through to me. But apparently not the confirmation email. Can you help?

allow my websusers to upload files in a form widget.
the uploaded files come automatically as attachment in the email notifications.

however when changes or updates are done, these attachments are not sent with the email notifcation.

is there a way to activate this please?

Old Values in Email notifications

Is there any way to keep MTH from reporting the Old Values when a form is updated. HR does only needs to see the New values for their calendars and it slows down the process of updating.

Yesterday we made a change to the format of the subject line for the email notification on record create. This change worked great but when records are updated the email that is sent is still sending with the old format. I believe this is due to only the subject line being changed and the standard email sent on updates does not use the same format. Is there a way for us to customize the email subject for records that are updated?

1. At first you need to add a single line field type to your web form.

– Open the Emails menu;

– Select Send confirmation email to form submitter option;

4. From the drop down field select your Email field;

How to enable or disable email notifications

You can find this option in Customize & integrate module, tab Form, menu Emails.

By checking/unchecking ’ Receive email notifications about new records added to my database ’ option you enable or disable email notifications from MTH.

I can't receive emails from MyTaskHelper.com

Most probably this is because your mail server thinks that MyTaskHelper.com sends you SPAM.

We’ve noticed it with the following mail server providers:

ukr.net
mail.ru
mailgate.freeparking.com
mx30.aha.ru

We contacted these services but had no responce at all.

Good news is that the most widely used emails work:
google.com
yahoo.com

So, we highly recommend you to use gmail or yahoo emails for MTH.

Email Notifications

I have tried a form with some big uploads. It arrived in the database but didn’t send the email notification through as the test files were too big. Is there a way of the system sending a notification email regardless of attachments. What i mean is that it tells us a form has been completed but the files were too large. This would at least notify us that we need to login and download them.
I hope that makes some sense.

I set up Email Notification exactly the same for FORM SUBMITTED and SEND CONFIRMATION EMAIL TO FORM SUBMITTER.

The FORM SUBMITTED submits exactly as intended — the attachment is included in the email

SEND CONFIRMATION EMAIL TO FORM SUBMITTER includes an invalid link and clicking the link returns this message - "The previous page is sending you to an invalid url (http:///images/data/byW6PGW7zgqyddUCoDW6Wz/aPW41kiSjbcO_cGgTlWOum/Jordan-Unit3.pdf). If you do not want to visit that page, you can return to the previous page."

Is this intended or a glitch?

Can't receive form backup email

I requested several backups of my form today(with a 10+ min interval), but I still haven’t received any of the email with the attached backup data, don’t know what’s going on, and I think I’d stop putting more backup request now until the real problem has been fixed.

I have created a form with a mail-field ‘project responsable’. When editing the form I want to warn somebody through mail when the form is completed. In order to do this I have created an action in which I define: when field … is ‘ok’, then send a mail to field ‘project responsable’. After filling in the mail-adress and status = ok I don’t receive a mail.

* can I check if there was sent a mail ?
* what am I doing wrong ?
* the adressed person is a customer. Does each customer need to be a member of MTH in order to let this work ?

I have created a form in which a representative has to fill in a field. This document will be mailed to the manager who will evaluate the application/request. If he decides to give it a ‘go’ by filling in/submitting a second field, the third person will be informed by mail. This person will complete the form with necessary data. In my example I have created three forms ( representative, manager and administration).

What people may see in the form:

representative ==> field 1
manager ==> field 1 and 2
administration ==> field 1 and 2 and 3

First I have created a form “administration” in which the three fields are available.
Secondly I have made a clone of form administration (name = “manager”), removed field 3. The data are submitted to form “administration”.
Finally I have made a clone of form manager (name=“representative”) and have removed field 2. The data are submitted to form “manager”.

I don’t know if this setup is allowed or is ok for use. It doesn’t work since it is not submitting data tot the main table (“administration”).

I find it strange that after setup I loose the possibility in the second table “manager” on advanced settings, it doesn’t react anymore.

Can I receive some help please?

Delete Function Prompt

When you press the Delete Selected Button, it immediately deletes all records without prompting the using to request if the user is indeed sure that they want to delete the records.

Could you please add a Delete Prompt confirmation question, on the delete buttons, to make sure that if a user presses the bottom that the data does not just disappear but that the user indeed confirms that they want to do that?

PDF Export - No "Table" View + Missig Field

I noticed that when using the PDF Export, that if I specify “Table” View, instead of “Individual” View, then, it doesn’t send any email at all, as it does if I just specify “Individual” instead.

Also, with “Individual”, many of the records shown do NOT include the first field “Last Name”.

Added User - Deleted - Want "Invite"

After I have already invited a User, then, deleted that User, searching for that User again results in an “Add”. Since the email that is sent by doing an “Add” does NOT include the ID & Password, this is NEVER useful (only confusing to the recipient).

So, I need to be able to invite someone, delete then, and re-invite them.

Sometimes, either the recipient deleted this email by mistake, or, it becomes part of their SPAM; so, they ask me to re-send the invitation, but, the system doesn’t have this feature; so, I have to delete them and try to re-invite them (NOT via an “Add” as it’s not useful to them).

Highlight web form fields and attaching files to forum posts

Currently you have a feature that will send an email when a single record us updated. Could you add a feature that will send a simple email that states that the entire database has been updated? I update my database daily with a .csv file that updates records based on key data fields. Sometimes the records are updated but sometimes they are not. I would like to receive and email to let me know that the new .csv file has been uploaded – even if there are not changes. I have an automated desktop bot that uploads this file and I need to know that it actually ran in case it runs when I am not present.

Thought this would be the answer to my scheduling issue…except I cant email to a form email address. I dont want to send the reminder to one email address, I want to send the reminder to the remindee’s email.

If the form contains images MTH will send these included in the information email to confirm a new record has been created. If the image files are greater than the recipients email capacity this could easily create problems.

I suggest that MTH only send the information notice without any image file attachments for this function.

Form "Stacking" In E-Mail

I’ve run into a problem with my Forms “stacking” on top of one another. This happens when multiple forms are filled out in a single day (Same form). This seems to only happen in Google mail. I realize that the forms are stacking because the Subject line is the same for each form filled out. An easy fix is a time stamp. If each form was time stamped they would have different subject lines and not stack anymore. If anyone has any suggestions on what I can do in the mean time, I am open for suggestions. PDF Reports

I have four requests about the PDF reports.

1. Can the settings be adjusted and retained so that there is default I set, either for myself or even better for a project? Currently I get 11 point font and a huge paper size, so each time I have to chage the font and the paper size and orientation.

2. Could it be possible to send the PDF to a client rather than to me, or to both?

3. Can the PDF be sent as an attachment that is the PDF file itself not is a zip inside a folder. PDFs are not large and the zip creates additional steps. Could this be an option setting?

4. Could the PDF be customized like a the Email Newsletter, so I could specfic a standard heading and explanation to go along with the records.

Presently only fields with email validation will workwith Newsletter Email. I use the email address as the unique identifier field to relate to Forms. In the second form it comes up as a “Select person” field which cannot be validated as email address even though it is an email address.

Can the Newsletter Email allow any field with emails to work with newsletter.

You already have very exciting feature of e-mail notification on new record. Here is another suggestion.

It would be absolutely wonderful if the system could send e-mail notification (text to be configured by administrator) based on value of a certain field.

Example: If value of filed “renewal date” equals OR less than current date, send e-mail to specified e-mail with specified text.

Having an option to specify 2-3 different notification options with different condition and notification text would empower the database and bring immeasurable value to those working with clients and renewals.
Any company would make use of it for sure as we all need to make sure to charge clients in time :)))

Export as Excel

I think it would be an excellent addition if we had the option to export to Excel via download rather than email. I just discovered that you have download capability built into the Team member export (so it may not be a complicated addition) — and it would be a most useful addition for my clients.

Just to start of I want to say I love your site.

Its absolutely amazing and simple to use very helpful.

Wanting to do a couple of things and was wondering if they are currently possible.

We are running a software support site and we want users to log there problems so we can aid them.
Now this is easily achieved thanks to you.

However I want to add to this and I don’t know if its possible.

What I want is a ticket system where each time something is submitted a number is generated for the user.

This is so that they can come back with a reference number.

Another thing I want to do is send an automated email once the form is submitted.

So if a users submits a form an email will be sent to them not me saying ‘thank you xyz’.

Are these to things possible?
Basically I’m trying to set up a ticket help system.

We recently made changes to a few forms and cloned them to separate our two companies. The form changes aren’t showing up in either form once summited as well as the email chain changes.
