Is there any workaround to add clickable links to forms?

Showing several columns

Publication date: August 14, 2018

Thanks for all your help.
Working on my application I run into a problem following the post “How to link forms in MHT
At the end of the note is: “In order to show several column’s data from linked table you can create Formula field and select this field in ‘Select display field’.”
I’m sorry, but how?. I can’t find that Select display field in Formula field.
Thanks again.

How to remove QuintaDB link

How to remove QuintaDB link

You can remove ‘Powered by QuintaDB.com from all of your web forms or databases.

You may find it useful if you want no one to know how you built your database or web-form. Or if you just don’t want to link to our service.

This is a one time payment and works forever. It costs only 79$.

Bug in DMTHML Editing.

Publication date: August 16, 2018

When editing DMTHML I have encountered a glitch.

The steps to reproduce are:

Select Customize & Integrate

Select Record, make a small change (eg Bold) and click Update

Select Database and click Direct Link

Click Edit on the right hand side and edit the record (eg add some text)

Click Update on the bottom of the page

The record summary is now displayed on screen and there is an Edit link at the top. Click this link and nothing happens – however, if you reset the record widget to default and update it will work fine.

URL Field in Single Line Field

Publication date: August 16, 2018

If possible, can this type of field have an option to re-load the current widget view if the field is null? In other words to force the Record View link if URL data is empty. My logic is simple, if the URL is empty and the feature used in Record View then when clicked the URL goes to a page that can not be found… disaster! I am currently forced to set a default URL value for a domain that simply tells the user that nothing is found.

Form Share Links

Publication date: August 17, 2018

Be able to create form share links — so form templates can be shared with others who have a paid MTH account.

Sorry about the post to FAQs.

It would be great to add Subdomains to MTH. This way Companies can have URL for their database, like this:

and when they open this link they will see Login page, with the ability to upload their own Company Logo. So it would be like the door to their companies portal.

Also this way we’ll reduce link size, it will not have /apps/app_id part. It will be still long, but better then now.

Add New Record link

Publication date: August 20, 2018

Is it possible to add an option to have “Add New Record” link on top of the Editable Database table, next to Pagination for example, or before it. Clicking on it would show Add New Record form below the table OR in the same Window as the Whole New page.

The above would eliminate the need to always have both Database and Form links at hand.

Will be extremely handy !

Thank you

Editable/non-Editable Database Links

Publication date: August 20, 2018

Hello Igor

It would significantly enhance the possibilities of the system if users are given a choice of Editable AND non-Editable links (both Embanded and Direct) at the same time simultaniously.

At the moment as a user I can only choose to have one of the above. However, ideally I would need to give my client a link to the table that is only possible to view and to my employees the link to the same table that would give an option to Edit. Without need to log it to mytaskhelper website.

I understand that the above would probably mean significant amount of work, but the result is obvious. Then, also, there will be no need for a “tick” to be put to allow users to edit records as those unauthorized to edit would just be given non-editable link.

Whould you be looking at something like the above. I know there was a similar request already to do multi profile (if I’m not mistaken).

Thank you
