| DESCRIPTION/NOTES | Dog (Jawa Spock) fell at the first turn during the race and fractured both his rear hocks. Due to the extent of the injuries, the kennel owner was contacted and authorized euthanasia of the dog. The track vet stated that it is very unusual for a greyhound to fracture both rear hocks, but also stated that this injury does not reflect negligence on the part of the trainer. Case closed without further action. |
