Generate report in graphical way is a common task, when you have data in your database. Using QuintaDB you can build nice charts and even embed them to your page or blog
You can create and integrate charts based on your online database in QuintaDB. This tool allows you to visualize data, print reports, and download them in various formats (PNG, JPEG, PDF, SVG).
In this blog post we'll explain how to create a chart and you'll be able to generate the same chart in a few minutes easily!
Open a table with data that you want to visualize:

Go to the "Charts" module using the leftside menu and create a new chart.

Available chart types include Lines, Sparklines, Horizontal/Vertical bar, Scatter plot, and Pie charts. You can change the chart type at any time.

Select a table and a column with data. Specify the name and color. Please note that you can add multiple data sources to one chart.

Set up the Y-axis. You can specify a name, minimum, and maximum values.

Set up the X-axis. It can be a Default range, Autoincrement, List of values, or a Database Field (dropdown, radio, checkbox).

In the Settings tab, you can customize the legend, add prefixes/suffixes (like currency), and set precision or rounding.

Other powerful options include:

Set chart sizes (Width and Height) and activate Maintain aspect ratio for better responsiveness.

To embed your chart, copy the iframe or JavaScript code from the Integration tab.
